Resources

CAWBC has received several awards and recognition for its efforts in empowering and inspiring entrepreneurs by giving them tools, knowledge and resources needed to start and grow their business. We would like to thank Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham, The Women's Fund of Greater Birmingham, and The Family Guidance Center of Alabama for their support in our efforts.

•Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham - CAWBC's recent grant award from the Foundation will make possible important and substantive changes in the CAWBC website directly benefiting CAWBC clientele.  Changes such as online training and webinars making opportunity for self-development including and self-employment possible for many more people.
•The Women's Fund of Greater Birmingham - CAWBC has been awarded an $18,000 grant to train women interested in starting an on-line business. There will be eligibility requirements and a monetary incentive given to each participant at the end of this program.
•Family Guidance Center of Alabama - CAWBC was the only organization for the state awarded 2011 volunteer group of the year for our commitment, dedication and support of the center for families in Jefferson County. CAWBC partners with FGC and teaches free computer classes to anyone needing to enhance their skills.
